All of Don and Judi's creative endeavors are marketed by Gingezel™ Inc. where he is co-founder, CTO, and CFO. Gingezel™ takes its name from the pleasure planet Gingezel in the Gingezel sci-fi series.
Don draws in equal parts on his sports experience, technical experience, his life experience, and his imagination for his novels. The novels are heavily focussed on realistic characters and have complex interwoven story lines. Don's AI and coding experience is the basis for much of the Dreen Pendi story line, the hackers (although he never hacked), and the Genie pilots in the Gingezel series. Inventing Octagla is based on his playing hockey and lacrosse. The drama in the Octagla series where the team is going for a championship is based on Don's experience.
